Who publishes this site, who hosts it, and the little it keeps of you.
Who publishes the site
Multifus is published by viclafouch (new tab), a private individual, in a private capacity, outside any company, and selling nothing. The host knows who they are, as the law requires.
Write to the X account (new tab), and nowhere else. That is the way in for a wrong mark in the comparison or a bad translation.
The site’s code (new tab) is public, but not open source: copying the site, its texts or its code is forbidden without viclafouch’s written consent.
The site exists only at multifus.app, and Multifus downloads only from github.com/viclafouch/multifus (new tab). A copy published at any other address is not viclafouch’s, and its download button can lead to a fake Multifus.
Who hosts it
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (new tab), 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, in the United States.
The pages are built ahead of time and served as they are, with no database and no account.
What the site keeps of you
No cookie is set, neither by the site nor by the traffic counter. So there is nothing to accept.
Your browser keeps one thing only: that the offer to read the site in your language has already been shown to you. It never leaves your machine, and clearing the site data wipes it.
Traffic is counted without naming you. Vercel Analytics (new tab) counts page views and downloads, with no identifier, no profile, and no following you from one site to the next.
Page speed is measured the same way. Vercel Speed Insights (new tab) records how long a page takes to show up on your side, with no identifier and no profile.
What the software sends
Multifus sends two measurements per session, one when it opens and one when it closes. The “Share usage statistics” box, in the Settings screen, turns them off, and nothing leaves any more.
What leaves: the system, the Multifus version, the language of the machine, the boxes you ticked, how many characters you have and their classes, and the counters of the session, such as how many window switches.
What never leaves: a nickname, the text of a message, a game file, your configuration, and nothing that names you. A crash sends the file name and the line, never its message.
These measurements are kept by Aptabase (new tab), in the European Union, with no cookie, no identifier that follows you from one session to the next, and without keeping your IP address. Its privacy policy (new tab) says it in full.
The trademarks that are not ours
Dofus, Dofus Retro and Ankama belong to Ankama Games (new tab). The images and videos on this site come from the game (new tab) and stay theirs.
Multifus has no link with Ankama: no partnership, no endorsement, no backing of any kind.
Ankama tolerates what Multifus does
No game file is read, and no action is played in your place.
